Nine students representing different major fields of study at the Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota have been selected by the Trustees of the college to receive its highest honor – The Trustee Scholarship – whose hard work, talent, spirit and dedication exemplify excellence.  An exhibition of work by the winning students is opened at the college in December.  For the first time, this exhibition of outstanding work by exciting new artists is being shown outside of Sarasota.  This is an opportunity to see the many ways that fresh artistic visions, using the newest techniques and media possibilities, influence so much of our own views of the world around us.
