A Symphony of Solace and Remembrance: "Requiem for Solace" is a poignant composition crafted to provide solace to those in pain, grieving, or seeking a moment of remembrance and honoring. The main movements, set in Latin, intertwine with additional movements featuring English texts by Emily Dickinson and an anonymous prayer from the Jewish Prayer Book, titled "We Remember Them." This nine-movement masterpiece, adorned with strings, solo trumpet, percussion, and talented soloists, offers a contemporary interpretation of the Requiem Mass, fusing sacred texts with modern poetry to create a powerful and relevant composition.

Musical Excellence and Artistic Direction: Under the artistic direction of Mr. Dana Hofstrom, the Lake Wales Choral has enchanted audiences globally. Appointed as the Musical Director in September 2019, Dana holds a BA in Music Education from Anderson University and a Master’s Degree in Music and Worship from Liberty University. Currently serving as the Assistant Professor of Worship/Music & Department Chair at Warner University, Dana brings his exceptional musical prowess to elevate this soul-stirring performance.

A Night of Harmony and Reflection: As the sun sets on Lake Wales, let the Requiem's harmonies envelop you in a transcendent atmosphere of reflection and solace. Join us on this musical journey at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where the power of music will resonate in the hearts of all who attend.
