If you can recall, how did you first hear about the Lake Wales Arts Center?
I first found out about the Lake Wales Art Center passing by it on the road. I am an artist myself and I knew I wanted to get involved.
Why did you want to start volunteering at the Lake Wales Arts Center?
I started volunteering at the Lake Wales Art Center because it was a way for me to get my much-needed community service hours surrounded by art and music.
What are some duties you have as a volunteer?
Some of the duties I've had as a volunteer are to help sort and organize things, assist the teachers in the summer program, and help during events.
How did you apply to become a volunteer at the Lake Wales Arts Center?
I applied to be a volunteer at the Lake Wales Art Center by filling out a short form.
What is your favorite part about being a volunteer here?
My favorite part about volunteering at the Art Center is the art and music that I am exposed to as well as the knowledge I learn about each subject. In just the summer program alone I learned many artistic techniques from the art teacher that was there that became useful to me.
Would you recommend your friends to volunteer at the Lake Wales Arts Center with you? If so, why?
I would recommend volunteering at the Art Center to my friends especially those who are artistically or musically inclined. There is much to be learned from the people who come to the Art Center. I would also recommend it to those who aren't because volunteering is always fun and rewarding.
