2020 Summer Arts Camp

COVID-19 Pandemic Update

Updated 7/05/20 - 12:05 PM

Dear Parents,

The 2020 Summer Arts Camp is moving to online. The Arts Council will host free fine arts classes via our Facebook page and on Youtube. These classes will be available on-demand for any student during the entire months of July and August. Our currently enrolled students will also receive a bi-weekly grab bag of supplies for each area of focus. Information about pick-up for these grab bags will be sent out soon.

The Lake Wales Arts Council is offering full refunds to every parent who purchased tuition. The grab bag of supplies will be available to all currently enrolled students, regardless of their refund status. We will be holding classes in the future, so parents can allot their tuition to a future program or donate it to the Lake Wales Arts Council.

We would like to extend a special note of appreciation to Mountain Lake Community Service, Inc., the Jahna Foundation, the GiveWell Community Foundation, and the Ruth Marchione Foundation for making this year’s summer camp, supply grab bags, and redirection to this virtual education model possible for our Summer Camp students.

The Lake Wales Arts Council, Mountain Lake Community Service, Jahna Foundation, GiveWell Community Foundation, and Ruth Marchione Foundation would like to invite your child to our 2020 Summer Arts Camp. The Arts Council’s Summer Arts Camp program has been an institution of the Lake Wales community for over 20 years. We are excited to host our local students online for two months of art and music!

This year’s Summer Arts Camp is exclusively online via our Youtube and Facebook page. Click the button below to follow us on Facebook!
