Looking for something fun that's outside the norm?  This pottery wheel class is perfect for single individuals looking for a fun and creative experience.  First, with beverage in hand, we start with a quick tour of our incredibly beautiful Arts Center.  You'll get a backstage look and learn a little about the history of the LWAC (unless otherwise reserved for a different event).

Then, it's studio time!  Our instructor will give you a demonstration of how to "throw" pots on the wheel and then it's your turn!  With some added one-on-one help, you will learn the basic techniques of throwing pottery on the wheel and keep what you make.  We will fire and clear-glaze the masterpieces and you can pick them up a couple of weeks later.

Open to all skill levels; this is a single-session class

Each class is $35 per person and includes everything you’ll need to have a great experience- instruction, clay, glazes, firing, and a couple of beverages.

Space is limited so you must register at least 72 hours in advance.

These classes are designed for 10 students, so you’ll gets lots of attention from the instructor.

Cancellations/Refunds:

Cancellation one week prior to the class: A full refund will be issued.
Cancellation within a week (seven dates) but more than 24 hours prior to the class: A 50% refund will be issued.
Cancellation within 24 hours of the class: No refund will be issued.
