John Coltrane's groundbreaking album, Blue Train, left an indelible mark on the world of jazz, earning a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. Its reissue soared to the number one spot on the Billboard album charts in 2022. The enchanting melodies and remarkable performances by an incredible band, featuring Lee Morgan on trumpet, Curtis Fuller on trombone, and led by Coltrane himself, have captivated jazz enthusiasts since its release in 1957.

Featuring: Jazz Connection regular, Zach Bornheimer, on saxophone. The Jazz Connection will present the full album of Blue Train live in concert, along with some of Coltrane's other well-known compositions like Impressions, Resolution, and, of course, his famous version of My Favorite Things.

John Coltrane was one of the great innovators of the jazz language, and we look forward to celebrating his extraordinary contributions with you!
