COVID-19 Precautions at the Lake Wales Arts Center
This is how we are working to keep you safe during your visit with us.
The Lake Wales Arts Council asks that you remember to follow CDC guidelines during your visit with us. Help us enjoy the arts safely; wearing a mask and maintaining social distance is vital to the health and safety of our entire community.
We understand that many of our patrons, artists, and performers are uncomfortable being in public venues at this time. Yet, we are committed to providing access to the fine arts for our community. Therefore, we have found creative ways to offer you programming from the safety of your home through virtual gallery tours, recorded and live streamed video content, and online fine arts courses. We know that virtual is not the same, but we hope you will make use of this free content to continue to support the fine and performing arts in our community. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to make all of our programs available virtually.
If you are attending an in-person event with us, please take note of the following information for your visit:
Please stay home if you are feeling ill. Get well and visit us when you feel better!
We ask all guests to wear face coverings (ages 2 and up). Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times. All face coverings should fully cover the nose and mouth.
Physical distancing is required; guests should stay at least six feet (about two arms' length) from others and from groups.
Please do not touch the artwork, frames, platforms, labels, display cases, or anything used to protect the art. Seating arrangements are prepared to observe social distancing requirements, please do not move seats from their original location without consulting a Lake Wales Arts Council Staff member.
Please follow the instructions of LWAC staff while attending events.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit to the Lake Wales Arts Council. Those visiting LWAC do so at their own risk of such exposure.
